Villa Poggio alla Guardia is a simple country lodge located in the green hills of Montecatini and Pistoia, the heart of Tuscany. The house, built in the second half of the 18th century, is a charming example of the domestic architecture of the region and has also been updated to contain modern conveniences and amenities. The villa is part of a 22 acre estate and is surrounded by its own olive grove, fruit orchards, and vinyard, as well as wooded areas perfect for hiking or a leisurely walk. Guests are encouraged to wander the footpaths crossing the property and depending on the season, we are even able to offer you vegetables and fruit from the kitchen garden and orchards. The owners of Villa Poggio reside in a smaller house adjacent to the main house. They are very respectful of their guests privacy but, are happy to assist those staying with them and are available to help ensure a pleasurable experience during your stay.
